Ben nevis scotlands highest
High Resolution JPEG Picture of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. Some of the most world famous and iconic ice climbs are contained on its north face. The snow corniced summit with its crags beneath, rise above the darker bulk of Carn Dearg. The easiest ascent, known as the tourist path, can be seen zigzaging up the grey scree slopes to the right of centre. Many walkers are caught unawares on this apparently easy route to a relatively low altitude peak, starting off in trainers and teeshirt, only to return by stretcher. AdobeRGB colorspace.
