The calm, lazy pond surface to the left is smoothly rippled and serene. But early evening sunlight highlights infinite abstract copper-colored ribbons of speeding water streaming over the edge and crashing down into the continuous jumble of chaotic, blurred splashes. Shot with Canon EOS 5D Mark II body and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM lens. NOTE: I thought the light was perfect, so this is one of a series of several images shot within a few minutes exploring different aperture and shutter speed settings.
