The calm, lazy pond surface to the left is rippled and serene. Early evening golden sunlight highlights infinite silky smooth ribbons of speeding water spilling over the edge and slipping down into that long, continuous rush of blurred, streaking splashes. Shot with Canon EOS 5D Mark II body and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM lens. NOTE: I thought the light was perfect, so this is one of a series of several images shot within a few minutes exploring different aperture and shutter speed settings. There are also various post-processing/cropping combinations in the group. This one is 1/25 shutter speed with an aperture of F/11. Horizontal composition.
