Large town square in the centre of Lyon, the largest open pedestrian square in Europe, with in the middle the equestrian statue of king Louis XIV on his horse. This photo was taken in Lyon city, Unesco World Heritage Site, in Rhone department in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region, in France (Europe) in february during a bright sunny day. We can also see the hill of Fourviere with the Basilica Notre Dame de Fourviere and the famous telecommunication antenna tower, and old monument of Cathedrale St Jean.
